Cycling in the Brecon Beacons National Park also known as "the Beacons" is great for those looking for cycling holidays, cycle touring or just a day out on the bike.

 Here you can find information to make your cycling trip in the Beacons as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Cycle tour guides and hire companies can set up anything from a package cycling holiday to a simple day's bike hire.

From May Bank Holiday on Sundays and Bank Holidays there is a special Bike Bus to transport you and your bikes right into the heart of the Brecon Beacons.

If you are cycling on one of the towpath routes, please read the code of conduct for cyclists.

Several Sustrans’ routes weave through the Brecon Beacons National Park which is perfect for cycle touring and exploring Wales.

 

Some cycle businesses offer package cycling holidays with accommodation and routes all taken care of, there are even cycling guides with excellent local knowledge should you wish to just go out for a day.

Cyclists can catch the Beacons bus from Cardiff on Sundays and be dropped off in Brecon Town to cycle back along the Taff trail into Cardiff. A perfect day out cycling amongst glorious scenery.
