Cycling in the Brecon Beacons National Park (also known as "the Beacons") is great for those looking for cycling holidays, cycle touring or just a day out on the bike.

Several Sustrans’ routes weave through the Brecon Beacons National Park which is perfect for cycle touring and exploring Wales.

 

Some cycle businesses offer package cycling holidays with accommodation and routes all taken care of, there are even cycling guides with excellent local knowledge should you wish to just go out for a day.

Cyclists can catch the Beacons bus from Cardiff on Sundays and be dropped off in Brecon Town to cycle back along the Taff trail into Cardiff. A perfect day out cycling amongst glorious scenery.
